EXPLORE STANLEY PARK

90 minute walking tour around Stanley Park’s Beaver Lake and along the world famous seawall. Learn how Coast Salish peoples harvested from both forest and sea, described as “a threshold between two worlds”. Guests will also hear of Vancouver’s ancient and contemporary history. Spring and early summer are recommended. Suitable for small to medium sized groups.

ZOOM SESSION

GROUP SESSION (IN PERSON)

3.5 hours with short breaks. Will be based on which 3 or 4 topics are of interest to the group. This will allow to go into each topic in more depth. Suitable for school classes or small to medium sized groups.

Classes can be taken online or in-person. For indoor classes, they are based on a number of topics that are chosen before and to be of most interest for the group. Outdoor classes take place at Stanley Park and focusses on identifying trees and plants to be of significant cultural importance to Coast Salish peoples.
